The CGFEP — Caisse de Prévoyance des Fonctionnaires et Employés Publics — is Luxembourg’s pension regime for civil servants and public-sector employees, structurally distinct from the general CNAP scheme that covers the private sector. It is governed by its own legislation, administered separately, and uses different qualification, calculation, and indexation rules. A career affiliated to the CGFEP does not feed into the CNAP formula; it produces a separate pension line, and a worker who has split a career between the public and private sectors will draw from both regimes under coordination rules.
The MyPensionPlan.lu calculator engine for CGFEP is in active development. The target release window is Q3 2026, and the methodology will be published at the same time, in the same form as the existing CNAP, invalidity, and survivor methodologies on this site.
